Egypt Expresses Outrage at Israeli Prime Minister's Statements on Gaza

stated that the Arab Republic of Egypt expressed its outrage at the statements made by the Israeli Prime Minister to an American media outlet yesterday, which included allegations and intentional misdirection that are rejected; these statements contradict the efforts made by Egypt since the start of the aggression on Gaza and its introduction of urgent humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people, with over 5,000 trucks from Egypt since the ceasefire and the facilitation of the passage of the wounded, injured, and dual nationals.

Egypt emphasized - in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration - that these statements aim to cover up and distract from the blatant violations committed by Israel against civilians and the destruction of vital Palestinian facilities, including hospitals, educational institutions, power stations, and water treatment plants, as well as the use of siege and starvation as a weapon against civilians.

Egypt expressed its total rejection of any statements that aim to displace the Palestinian people to Egypt, Jordan, or Saudi Arabia, while expressing its solidarity with the sons of Gaza who are clinging to their land despite all the horrors they are subjected to in defense of their just and legitimate cause.

Egypt also reaffirmed its commitment to the established Egyptian and Arab constants based on the right of the Palestinian people to establish their state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
